The church in White Castle. 1896, was the first church in Louisiana dedicated to Our Lady of Prompt Succor, the patroness of Louisiana. The present day church modified Romanesque in style, was built in 1954 after fire destroyed the first building. Our family faith community worships in the beautiful environment of marble altars and hand-carved statues.
