Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church at 32615 Bowie St. PO Box 249., White Castle, LA 70788-0249 US - A Jubilee Window

During the Jubilee Year in August we dedicated and blessed the Millenium Jubilee Window and Door in our Parish Church.   This window was especially crafted for our Parish by Jack Landry assisted by his daughter-in-law Laura Landry.   This creation expresses the world in chaos and the ordering of the continents by Jesus - Yesterday, Today, and Forever.    Our Diocesan 'Catholic Commentator' published an article on the event.    It is possible that this is the first and only stained glass window commemorating the Millenium Jubilee.   May it move our parish into the Third Millenium with renewed spirit and enthusiasm to be the salt of the earth to all creation.
